In computing, virtualisation uses software to mimic the characteristics of hardware to create a virtual computer system.
This allows IT organisations to run more than one virtual system, and multiple operating systems and applications, on a single server1 .
This software, therefore, has the function of simulating the existence of the technology resource to be virtualised.
