Today we often hear that we live in a digital world, a large part of social life has moved to the Internet, to chats and many other forms of online communication. New technologies are making the planet we live on unrecognizable. The digital world has invaded schools at high speed and has no intention of leaving here. In any case, today it is hard to imagine a lesson without devices, apps, and the possibilities provided by the Internet. The teacher often feels like a newcomer in this world, but not the students – they are already natives of the digital world.
The Erasmus+ project «We are ready for the digital world» unites teachers and students with the digital era through the effective use of IT tools and methods. Leaving contact training aside due to the COVID-19 pandemic was inevitable, we had to start remote training, which is inseparable from various apps. Students do not participate in mobilities abroad, but they participate in conferences, workshops, teacher trainings on Web 2 tools, coding, programming, robotics and virtual reality to develop digital and technological skills competencies.
